Looking Forward to December...in July, Part I

I know the title makes no sense...but it's true, and the best part is we can begin to preview everything in January! I know what you're thinking, but I've not lost my calendar...really.

Grab that great cup of hot coffee or cocoa, tea in my case, and join me as we preview the new holiday palettes from many of our favorite Moda designers - including Holly Taylor, 3 Sister's, French General, Sentimental Studios and others.  Too many to cover in one blog post...so we'll try to cover these in a series of posts over the next few weeks.  We'd love to hear from you ~ let us know what inspires you, what tickles your creative fancy, and what you'd love to see in the shop!

Now, where to begin...how about with Lumiere De Noel collection by French General

This gorgeous quilt kit, showcases the beautiful red toile print in the borders and the pieced stars steal the rest of the show.  Kaari has definitely wowed us again with another divine collection of beautiful rich french reds; and her addition of tea stain and a hint of green, subtly introduces the christmas palette with a gentle understated elegance.  Many of us fell in love with the beautiful motifs in her first collection, Rouenneries, and are delighted to see some of those repeated here in Lumiere de Noel

With, sooo many beautiful textures, colors, and fabrics...how do we choose?  Is it possible to just take them all home? (LOL)  I know many of our stashes already guarantee us a lifetime of projects and hours of sewing and quilting magic; but this is really no time to be on a fabric diet!  This line is exquisite!!  I'm envisioning holiday home decor projects, patchwork stockings, some dining table accessories and oh sew much more...(sigh)

Oh dear, what a delimma we face - and to think we still have several collections to still drool over!

New Year and the Prospect of New Beginnings

It has been way too long since I last posted here and so much has transpired over the course of the last six months.  It's hard to believe we're already half way through January!!  Where does the time go?

Thank you all for hanging in there with me ~ I promise not to make it a habit of being absent for such extended periods of time.  To my dear friends Bonnie, Margie and Marta a huge thank you for your support, friendship and encouragement ~ it's been a long haul, but I think we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

Thankful for where we are today, I've decided a new year, offers new beginnings...so, here's to new beginnings and all the wonderful, exciting, challenging, and rewarding adventures that are yet to come.
